INTRODUCTION

Cedarwood Virginia Oil is obtained from wood of Juniperus virginiana. This tree grows wild and in abundance in several Southeastern states in the United States, including Alabama, Arkansas and Missouri.

The wood of the cedar trunk is extremely pleasant and also serves as a strong insect repellent. It is primarily used by closet manufactures. The wood used for distillation is this industry's byproduct.

Soft, woody, pencil-like smell with a faint undertone of sandalwood.
