Our organically crafted Cranberry Hydrosol (aka Cranberry Distillate Water or Cranberry Fruit Essence) is the highly aromatic water obtained by gentle dehydration of the organic cranberries (Vaccinium macrocarpon) at low temperature using the Evaporation Technology. This is an eco-friendly process and is used to ensure that no damage is made to trace elements and mineral salts contained within the fruit water.

Cranberry contains more than 87% of water and a large amount of powerful antioxidants such as flavonoids. The Cranberry, well known as a super fruit, has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties.

REPORTED BENEFITS AND USES

Cranberry Hydrosol offers a high level of moisturization, and may aid in cellular regeneration, free radical scavenging (with Cranberry containing some of the highest levels of Vitamin C found in nature), and may also aid in the reduction of fine lines and wrinkles by increasing collagen synthesis. Traditionally, Cranberry is known to have antibacterial activity specially against Escherichia coli. This property is attributed to anthocyanins, flavonolglycosides, catechin, malic and citric acids present in the Cranberry Hydrosol. This extract is also a perfect ingredient for all cosmetics to add a touch of pure and wild nature to cosmetics.
