ABSTRACT

Since ancient time, Henna has been used in India as a natural dye for hairs, skin and fingernails. Gulhina Attar has an exotic floral, spicy with a slight incense-like aroma. This scent is reminiscent of the fragrant traditions of India’s sacred ceremonies. This attar possesses rich, sweet scent and essence, and loosely translates to the flower of paradise. The exotic aroma of this attar can be described as rich, sweet and earthy with smoothness of bittersweet chocolate and undertones of natural teas. This ancient attar has deep roots in Ayurvedic tradition and is said to promote clarity, and has a truly balancing aroma of henna and sandalwood. This attar has been traditionally worn by both men and women.

Extracted through the traditional hydro distillation process from the precious flower petals of Henna in the base of sublime sandalwood oil, Gul Hina attar is widely used in the fragrance and tobacco industry. Due to its amazing scent, it is also widely used in aromatherapy as well as in Ayurvedic preparations.
