Our organically crafted Scots Pine Hydrosol, also called Scotch Pine Hydrosol or simply Pine Hydrosol, is steam distilled from the lovely green needles and rich brown twigs of the Pinus sylvestris conifer tree growing wild in the forests of Bulgaria. This hydrosol with its fresh, piney, woodsy, warm aroma is widely used to support healthy lung function, especially if one is feeling congested from a cold or seasonal allergies.

Traditionally, Native Americans used the needles and young shoots of Pinus sylvestris trees stuffed into bedding to eliminate lice and fleas, and to prevent scurvy (the needles of the tree have a notable Vitamin C content).

REPORTED BENEFITS AND USES

Scotch Pine Hydrosol is also helpful for easing minor pain and inflammation as well as helping to ease unwanted muscle spasms. Scotch Pine Hydrosol is also welcome in a steam or inhaler blend to relieve sinus tension. Because of its potent anti-inflammatory properties, Pine Hydrosol resists redness and swelling for people with joint pain and discomfort when used topically. Pine Hydrosol may be useful with a variety of skin conditions due to its strong cleansing capacities including psoriasis, acne, boils, Athlete's foot, eczema and itching.

Emotionally and energetically, Scotch Pine Hydrosol calms and supports one's inner being. This hydrosol is soothing and encourages soft, gentle self-reflection and can help protect from negative energy transitioning to a more pleasant frame of mind.
