PLANT DESCRIPTION

Tagetes Minuta is a tall upright, annual, highly aromatic, profusely flowering herb of South America that spread to other regions of world as a weed. It is also widely cultivated in India in the states of Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal, Karnataka, and Uttar Pradesh. Its leaves, flowers and achenes have been widely used as a source of essential oil for the perfumery industry where it is popularly known as Tagetes oil or Marigold oil. It gives highest oil yield among all the cultivated Tagetes species.

PHYSICAL APPEARANCE

Tagete Absolute is a dark reddish yellow or deep orange colored liquid with medium to viscous consistency. We extract this strongly aromatic absolute using Solvent Extraction process.
