INTRODUCTION

Paras sources Violet leaves from Egypt and France. Our strong partnership in Egypt allows us to source high quality leaves and premium concrete. In Egypt, violet leaves are cut three times each year: in May-June; July-August; and in September. The violet leaves concrete is obtained by Primary Solvent Extraction of the leaves, and the absolute is produces through alcoholic washing of this concrete. The yield is extremely low: two tons of violet leaves are needed to produce just 1 kg of absolute.
