Our organically crafted Rosemary Hydrosol is steam distilled from the rich, green needle-like leaves and delicate purple flowers of the Rosmarinus officinalis plant growing in the Spanish countryside. This hydrosol with its mild, herbaceous, woodsy, and fresh aroma, is very energizing and uplifting and, traditionally, has been known to help with mental clarity.

Rosemary derives its name from the Latin ros marinus, or dew of the sea, which refers to the fact that it grows near coasts. It was sacred to the ancient Greeks and Romans who used it as a symbol of regeneration and employed it for many purposes such as to drive away evil spirits and repel moths in clothes chests, to fumigate sick rooms, to flavor ale and wine, and to reduce the spreading of fevers.
